Dear All,

After receive several emails, I just want to clarify that as I wrote earlier about the upcoming year of tiger wood yang, it is correct information about the element of the year.

The "Manchurian" calculation refers this year to "Geng Yin" which is Metal Tiger Yang.
However the correct version which is the "Han" calculation refers this year to be "Jia Yin" which is Wood Tiger Yang(+).

Therefore, the correct element of this tiger year would be Wood+.

Note: the "Manchurian" version was  created during the Qing Dinasty as many Taoist Master did not wish to have the Taoist Knowledge fallen into the hand of the Imperial Qing Dinasty. The Manchurian element cycle always repeat itself for every ten years. However, many Taoist master still kept the original "Han" calculation in which the element cycle repeat in such cycle for every 30 and 60 years, not 10 years. Unfortunately, today both version spread to the public.

Chinese New Year was a great success!

In addition to ALL the great food, it was a GREAT turn out.  I spoke with several individuals afterwards, and they all enjoyed the demonstration and friendly atmosphere.  I was pleasantly surprised at the insightful questions asked by the audience.

It was great to interact with Suhu Lin's Taoist students and get their perspective on the Taoist philosophy.

Keung He to Suhu Lin and Sifu Meng's school and students.
